Architecture for advd platforms and not-your-typical e-Commerce solutions sponsored session by Wunderkraut Belgium
In this session we will present two case studies and investigate aspects of architecture and e-commerce solutions of advanced digital platforms that address different business needs. Wunderkraut will look at the architectural design solutions that integrate with CRM systems and other digital tools that enable complex content management processes and flows, as well as support sales and loyalty programmes.
First part of the presentation will case study is Voka - Flanders' Chamber of Commerce and Industry - for which Wunderkraut developed a platform using Drupal 8 as the backbone structure that connects different organisational entities. The project now includes four components: the corporate website, a start-up network Bryo, a learning network Plato and a special community platform WELT that houses various trajectory counselling tools designed to increase the exposure of companies to work experience and training trajectories. The presentation will focus on business opportunities and challenges that stem from highly advanced integrations:
how did we decide to go for one platform,
was it a good choice in hindsight,
how much did we refactor and does that bring a ROI ?
The second case study is an international record label website that includes an e-commerce solution. The focus of this second presentation part is on how to choose the right e-commerce solution that also enables efficient customer data management considering specific project constraints and implementation in Drupal 8.
