Challenges of designing for a CMS
Duncan Jimbo
WordPress is currently the most popular content management system (CMS), accounting for approximately 46% of all sites that use a CMS. Its popularity is driven by the ease of installation and use, but selecting a CMS for your business/organization and designing for it requires more than picking what is currently popular.
This presentation is a distillation of lessons I've learned building for different CMS systems. It covers what it really means to design for a content management system and it is useful for anyone who works on or intends to work on a CMS-driven site.
