Designing for Images in Drupal
Jim Birch
Drupal has a vast suite of tools for image processing and configuration in its base. Using core tools, developers can place the correctly sized image exactly where it needs to be.
But for designers, did you know you can use tools inside of Drupal to process and create derivatives of the originally uploaded image?
We can ensure the focus of the image is maintained across different sizes and aspect ratios. We can add filters and effects, complex watermarks and image layering, and even add article titles to social media images.
This session will review how we can harness the power of contributed modules like Focal point, Crop, ImageMagickĀ® Image Effects, Textimage, and more to implement designs.
Attendees will come away from the session knowing the potential of designing for and implementing images in Drupal.
