Recipes for modular content layouts by Branislav Bujisic - bbujisic

Video Description

Drupal 8 was built for content management, and it’s really good at that particular job. Maybe too good, as there are dozens of approaches to manage and display content on the page. Site builder’s job has always been, not to assemble the site, but to figure out the best recipe to do it. Problem is — the best recipe depends on the use case.

This session is just slightly going to cover available techniques and modules do display content in various layouts. Then it is going to focus to various user requirements and subsequent dilemmas about the best approach for the given problem, together with pros and cons. Attendees will be encouraged to discuss and challenge each solution.

Finally, the session will propose an idea of having sets of reusable components (bundles of config, templates and CSS), to be simply enabled on various projects where needed.
